1. Who you are agreeing with
Chefsy AI is a product of Caffeinated Code ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you ("you") agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in factors safe. If something looks wrong on your account, email us at vedran@caffeinatedcode.co.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for non-commercial cooking use. You may not: copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, sell, lease, or sublicense the app or any part of it; or use it to build a competing service.
4. Recipes and cooking guidance
Recipes, ingredient suggestions, nutrition estimates, and cook-mode guidance are AI-assisted and provided "as-is". They are not medical, dietary, or allergen advice. You are responsible for checking ingredients against your own dietary needs, restrictions, and allergens before cooking or eating.
Always check freshness and food safety. Refrigerate leftovers. Don't cook chicken to medium.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Chefsy AI for unlawful purposes.
- Submit content that infringes others' rights or contains malware.
- Attempt to extract our prompts, models, or back-end logic.
- Resell access, automate the app at scale, or scrape generated content.
6. User content
Photos, notes, and recipes you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process them solely to operate the app for you (sync, search, AI assistance). You can delete them at any time from inside the app.
7. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are governed by our Subscription Terms and Apple's standard EULA.
8. Intellectual property
Chefsy AI, the chef-bot mascot, the Caffeinated Code marks and the visual design are owned by Caffeinated Code. You may not use them without written permission.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as-is" and "as-available". We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caffeinated Code will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising out of or related to your use of Chefsy AI. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 50.
11. Termination
You may stop using Chefsy AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, the license in §3 ends; the disclaimers and limits in §9–10 survive.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Caffeinated Code is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; we will notify you in-app of material changes and update the date above.
