Email us
vedran@caffeinatedcode.co — we read everything and reply quickly.
It helps if you include:
- Your device and OS version (iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 26.5 — Settings → General → About).
- The Chefsy AI version (Profile → the version line at the bottom).
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
Please don't send passwords or payment details — we never need them.
A scan got something wrong
Every scan lands on a review screen before anything touches your pantry, and everything on it is editable:
- Tap the circle beside an item to leave it out.
- Tap an item's name to rename it.
- Tap Add something we missed for anything the camera didn't catch.
Already committed? Open Pantry, tap the item, and adjust the amount or tap Remove from pantry. Photos are read by a model, so odd lighting, packaging, or a crowded shelf can throw it off — if a scan is wrong in a way that looks repeatable, email us what it read and what was actually there and we'll dig in.
Allergies and dietary restrictions
Set them once in Profile → Allergies (dietary restrictions live in the same sheet). From then on they are a hard constraint, not a preference: every generated or saved recipe is checked deterministically against your list on our servers, and anything that violates it is blocked before it can reach you — that check does not depend on the AI behaving well.
What it cannot do is read the label on the jar in your hand. We can't see brands, "may contain" warnings, production lines, or what a packaged ingredient was made alongside, and none of this is medical or dietary advice. Always check the ingredients yourself before cooking or eating — see Terms of Service §4. If you believe a recipe slipped past your list, email us; we treat that as the highest-priority class of bug.
Subscriptions and billing
Apple is the merchant of record for Chefsy AI — Apple takes the payment, renews the plan, and issues refunds. We never see your card.
- Manage or cancel (iPhone, iPad): Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chefsy AI.
- Manage or cancel (Mac): App Store → your name → Account Settings → Manage subscriptions.
- Refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com — Caffeinated Code cannot issue them directly.
- Subscribed but still seeing the paywall? Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it, then tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the Chefsy Pro screen. If it still won't unlock, email us and we'll fix it from our side.
Full detail — plans, renewal, trial, Family Sharing — is in our Subscription Terms.
Deleting your account and your data
Open Profile and tap Delete account. That permanently removes your pantry, cookbook, plans, taste profile, and account data; it can't be undone, and content is cleared from our systems within 30 days. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that separately using the steps above. Details in our Privacy Policy.
